A late 18th / early 19th century cream silk Continental embroidery, worked with a gold thread border and a polychrome all-over exotic flower and fruit design outlined with gold thread, some of the flowers and fruit are appliqued with hand woven ribbon work, 62 x 52in.

Areas of staining around one border and some light staining within the central cartouche, minor areas of wear and slight tears to the silk backing, nothing overly obvious or too severe, some threads lifting in places but generally in reasonable condition.
