OIl on original canvas, now with a number of small holes, two above the head, one at 4 o''clock, one at 5 o''clock and one at 7 o''clock, painted to the oval with fine but stable craquelure throughout, rather dirty framed in its original gilt gesso frame which now has numerous losses.
