Condition:
Oil on canvas wax relined 20 - 30 years ago or so, canvas remains tight, paint perhaps slightly dirty but otherwise in good order, signs of old stretcher marks and a fine but stable craquelure through most of the paint, some retouching directly in the sky below the horse's head and along the right hand stretcher mark, housed in an associated French giltwood frame.
