An impressive Barr Flight & Barr Japan pattern dessert service, c.1810,
comprising a pair of mask handled ice pails and covers, 27.5cm high, a pair of ring handled, sauce tureens and covers, 17.5cm high each on square pedestal bases, three shaped oval dishes, 28cm, four shaped square dishes, 23cm, two scalloped dishes, 19.5cm and twenty dessert plates, 21cm, impressed BFB marks,

Condition:
All items with some minor occasional wear to the gilding or enamels. The first ice pail cover is broken and re-glued with some evidence of a previous staple repair, the second ice pail cover has a re-fixed and staple repaired pineapple finial. Both of the ice pales are missing the liners, however when the lids are on this is not apparent. Two of the dessert plates have splinter chips to the edge and one dessert plate is badly broken and re-glued with some filler restoration to the back otherwise other pieces are in good condition. Please note there are also some splinter chip losses to the finials on each sauce tureen cover (Please see photos)
