A modern piece with CHINA stamp to base, numerous small scattered firing marks, some white paint splashes to the sides, light wear to the pinkish red enamelling. Star cracks to the underside.

Provenance - Alfred Theodore Arber-Cooke (c.1910-1993); thence by family descent. Arber-Cooke lived in Carmarthenshire, Wales and was an avid collector of European & Asian works of art and an author of the History of Llandovery. He was collecting from the 1940s to the 1980s.
