tallest pot - cover probably not original, bruise to inside of neck rim; middle size pot with crack downward from top approx. 12cm, clearly visible, smallest pot without a cover; tiny chip to pouring lip; baluster jar neck rim chipped approx 1cm and chipped with triangular section missing, approx 3 x 1mm; cylindrical jar neck flange with two small shallow chips; script worn; cover gilding worn; smallest pot unsightly cracks and repairs, cover similar; three tea bowls with gilding worn.

Provenance - Alfred Theodore Arber-Cooke (c.1910-1993); thence by family descent. Arber-Cooke lived in Carmarthenshire, Wales and was an avid collector of European & Asian works of art and an author of the History of Llandovery. He was collecting from the 1940s to the 1980s.
