Skiver looks to be a relatively recent replacement of good colour but with some scattered surface scratches, main body of the desk is of a very dark brown mahogany tone, some light rubbing and chipping to the front top corners, ormolu handles have a little light wear and oxidisation but look to be the originals, all of the keyholes have some light wear, fitted with original locks with one working keys, sides and back of the desk are not carved but just plain mahogany, wear from use around the feet.
