A good Japanese bronze and ivory okimono of a huntsman, Meiji period, the huntsman aiming his musket into the distance with a rabbit suspended from his belt, standing on a carved wood naturalistic base, engraved single character to his robes, 34cm high

There is a striped patina to his clothing which is mottled, No cracks to the ivory detected. The figure's left foot is attached by a thread and bolt and there is some scuffing to the wood stand where he has swivelled, otherwise in good condition.
It hasn't been cut down, the patina on the tip matches the rest of the piece.
