A WWII group of four medals to Pilot Officer 142540 William MacFarlane, 61 Sqdn Royal Airforce, captained a Lancaster Bomber W4317 on an operation against the Skoda Works at Pilsen, eleven aircraft attacked the target successfully, PO MacFarlane and his crew failed to return, died aged 22 Saturday 17th April 1943.
