Note: In 1934 Harrods store in London held a selling exhibition entitled 'Modern Art for the Table' as part of a Government campaign in the early 1930's to encourage leading artists to produce designs for industry. Allan Walton designed the 'Mornington' service for Foley China as part of the exhibition. Clarice Cliff was Art Director, with other renowned artist contributors including Duncan Grant, Laura Knight, Paul Nash and Graham Sutherland.
