A pair of early 19th century Spanish silver candlesticks, with demi-fluted stems, on square bases, with pierced gallery recess (possibly for use on a ship), maker, Martinez, 1800, height 20.3cm, gross 30.5oz.

Wax and burn marks on top of both sconces. Some minor nicks and signs of general wear on both stems. Repair to one sconce. Scratch marks to underside of both sconces. Pierced corners of bases have holes to some?? and one has a dent.
