A 19th century French mahogany console table, with black granite top and two side slides, on ebonised caryatid capped squared columns, understage and block feet, W.4ft 10in. D.1ft 11.5in. H.3ft 5in.

Honest untouched condition and requiring some restoration, the granite top has old surface scratches and splash marks but may be the original, moulding is missing from the left side, the right side moulding conceals a pull out slide that is lined with black fabric and now a little tatty, the left side has lost the front moulding section, the slide is hidden within, minor dents and scuffs commensurate with age to the underframe, caryatid capitols are worn with much of the ebonising rubbed away from the outer sides of the wings, equally the ebonised feet of the front pillars are rubbed and chipped, understage has a split running from left to right and scuffing from use, block feet again worn from use.
