A pair of Victorian novelty silver pepperettes modelled as lighthouses, inscribed on each base 'Smeatons Edystone Lighthouse', Deakin & Francis, Birmingham, 1895, 12.4cm, 176 grams.

Both lids are loose in situ. One lid is unmarked. Both finials are dented and have been pushed downwards. The top of the lighthouse rim on one has several small dents and there is a small dent near the bottom of the column. The other has a small ding to the top rim and two small dents near to the top of the column and one small dent near the bottom. Some green oxidisation to the underside of both bases. Hallmarks and inscription on both bases are clear.
