Oil on wooden panel in good untouched condition, colours strong, possibly needs a light clean, signed lower right, later stained wood frame, inscribed verso with title which is more indistinct at the end Dance au ... .
The sepia spot just above the figures on the skyline and the smaller one to the right do not look to be in the paint but at the same time do not wipe away with plain water so may need a specialist clean.
