Oil on panel in good clean condition, a little stable craquelure showing particularly in the contents of the jars, down the side of the brown bottle and to the right of the boys head, apparently unsigned, label verso for M Newman Ltd of Duke Street as well as a partially erased German Munich label, housed in a gilt gesso frame which is suffering some cracking and small losses.
