A Louis Phillipe marquetry inlaid kingwood ormolu mounted jardiniere, height 31cm

It dates from 1860-1880, there is an extra wood panel placed in the base of the bowl of the jardiniere and when looking underneath where the pedestal joins there are some splits with some old restoration around the area. It comes complete with a later thin liner Aesthetically-wise it is in reasonably good condition, some slight gaps between the joints, probably from central heating, it is possible that one of the birds on the handles is bent back slightly
