A George III silver oval box with hinged cover embossed with gentleman socialising, indistinct maker's mark, London, 1797, 75mm, 3.5 oz.

No holes to the lid. Some wear to the decoration on the lid, consistent with age and some use. Several large knocks around the base, a dent to the side and several dings and minor scratches to the sides also. Hallmarks clear except maker's mark. Lid unmarked.
