Two brooches.

A Victorian yellow metal and black enamel mourning brooch with plaited hair beneath a glazed panel and a yellow metal and sardonyx circular brooch, carved with facial features. Condition: Mourning brooch-25mm. Gross weight 5.4 grams. Enamel chipped in one corner. Minor scratches in general to the enamel. Glass quite scratches. Surface scratches to the back. Lead solder beneath one brooch fitting and there is a later? added bale, with lead solder beneath.
Sardonyx stone has a small chip to the edge and the pin clasp is not currently working(slightly bent out of shape). 17mm in diameter, Gross weight 2.8 grams.
