An Indian sword tulwar, silver decorated iron Lahori hilt, blade with etched inscription, 18th century, leather covered scabbard, blade 89.5cm, overall length 103cm
Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use to the hilt with areas of erosion of the silver decoration, but all parts solid and nothing loose, blade with wear to the inscription, beneath the etched inscription is a further scratched in S.P on one side, oxidisation to the blade and possibly slight regrinding of the tip, but overall fair, scabbard looks later but is in good condition.
