A Victorian marquetry inlaid ormolu mounted figured walnut credenza, of D shaped form with central panelled door flanked by glazed doors, on plinth foot, W.5ft 8in. D.1ft 4in. H.3ft 7in.

Top looks to have been repolished and probably restored, veneers do not join in a perfect match, colour is a little ginger and there are light surface scuffs and scratches, minor chipping to the top back front corners, main body in a more subtle honeyed walnut tone with a lower state of polish, ormolu all looks good with original gilding now slightly matted in places, left door does not shut perfectly and original lock is not working, one key works both of the other door locks, interiors have remnants of faded fabric, central compartment now raw timber, overall fair to good condition.
