Lot 832 , Set six chairs, similar chair and a carver

A set of six Regency mahogany dining chairs with elliptical spars, reeded frames, padded seats and ring turned tapered legs, a similar chair with X shaped spar and a plainer carver with downswept arms

Condition: The six chairs well used but still fair condition, frames remain solid, colour even dark brown with some light fading to two of the chairs particularly across the tops of the cresting rails, two of the chairs have had the cresting rails broken away and re-attached showing some small repairs at the back, all of the chairs would benefit from a gentle repolish, all have tired faded striped upholstery, the two odd chairs - the carver has a crude screw repair to the top of the left back stile and otherwise is quite worn, the single X spar chair in similar condition to the other dining chairs basically perhaps just needing some polishing.
