A late Victorian gold and silver, two stone sapphire, round and rose cut diamond set drop brooch, 37mm.

At least two of the small diamonds are chipped. The sapphire in the drop has a worn table facet and the other sapphire has a small nibble to the edge of the table facet. There is also a tiny piece of gold missing from the setting of the top sapphire. Top diamond setting is slightly off centre (slight knock?) Top sapphire is 5.6mm in length, 4.2mm width and depth 3.1mm. Top sapphire has visible inclusions, with a loupe, below the table. The surface of the lower sapphire is too worn to see below the table.
We do not comment on whether or not any of the stones have been treated or enhanced.
