- period settee a little wobbly at the back with small dents, scuffs and wormholes commensurate with age and use, signs of repairs where the stretcher joins the legs, upholstery slightly faded, feels like horse hair as the stuffing, replaced centre stretcher
- reproduction settee is solid in the frame, upholstery a little faded, underframe with minor dents and scuffs
