The exterior is worn throughout with scuffs, scratches, discolouration, stains, etc. There is also a piece of the pattern missing at the front right edge as you look at it. There are several small chips, particularly to the corners at the base. Large splits above the band on the back of the lid, there are also other splits to the lid as well as losses to the edges. The silk to the interior of the lid has several holes and tears, some large and the interior itself is stained and discoloured.
