A fixing wing nut for one of the pen rests is not functioning properly ( the piece is currentlY permanently loose). One of the raised sides of one of the recesses for one of the bottles has quite a dent to the rim, and there is also a split to the rim and a piece of the scroll decoration missing. There is a split to the rim of the other bottle recess. There is a small dent top the right side of the raised gallery. Two small pieces of the scroll work are missing from the back raised gallery. The front left foot has been pushed inwards slightly. Hlamrks clear although some slight rubbing to the maker's mark. Retailed by Asprey & Sons. There are visible small chips to both glass bottles, mainly to the side angles and raised parts of the facets cuts. There is also a very small chip to the base rim of one bottle. Both lids slightly loose.
