Two Chinese export sandalwood card cases, 19th century, both carved in high relief with figures amid pavilions and trees, one with vase shaped reserves on a blind fret ground, 10.8 and 10.9cm

The first card case which is carved in high relief all over has some residue from a label on the interior slip and a very slight chip to the edge of the cover, otherwise in good condition.
The second card case carved in lower relief has a very slight warp to the inner slip of the case and a chip on the bottom edge of the case, otherwise in good condition.
