An Edwardian novelty silver pin cushion, modelled as a hatching chick with protruding head and feet, (marks rubbed) and one other silver pin cushion modelled as a hen tureen, Birmingham, 1910, tureen 8cm.

Tureen- Large dent and split to the silver on the oval foot rim. Numerous small dings and dents visible around the undecorated part of the tureen. The cushion is quite worn and has a hole. Hallmark is clear but there is a split/hole to the maker's mark.
The chick has a small dent to the right breast. Very slight wear to the cushion. Slight wear to the decoration on top of the head. Hallmarks very rubbed.
