Weight 9 oz. Inscription reads "So Run That Ye May Obtain" "Presented by Alderman Raper To The Chichester Football Club As A Challenge Cup AD-1879. Won By G. Sadler Oct 1879, E.H Martin April 1880, T.O Sturges Jones, Oct 1880, G. Sadler, April, 1881, G. Sadler 1881, but run for and won Oct 1882".
Dent to base rim. The top rim is slightly misshapen also. Dent to base of body.Mug height 11.1 cm. Looks like a half pint mug but not certain.
