oil on canvas cleaned and relined approx 10 - 20 years ago or so, canvas remains stiff with a very slight outward bulge, paint looks clean with a fine craquelure particularly running through the upper blue of the sky and the white of the clouds, signed and dated lower left, housed in probably the original ornate gilt scroll frame which has seen some retouching and restorations, no labels or inscriptions verso.
