A rare Herculaneum porcelain botanical specimen part tea and coffee set, c.1810-15, painted in the manner of Thomas Pardoe with unnamed flowers on a pale salmon pink ground, gilt number 1151

All of the teacups have some wear to the gilding around the rims, bases and handles and the coffee cans have some slight wear to the gilding, the teacup painted with a pink dog rose has a large crack to the reserve side, one saucer painted with a group of yellow flowers has a crack to the edge. A second sacuer painted with red flowers with lily pad shape leaves has a fine star crack to the base. No other chips or cracks detected on other pieces. There are two large saucer dishes which have some slight wear to the gilding, otherwise in reasonable condition
