Oil on board in fair condition, paint looks a little dirty with some matted patching where the varnish has unevenly dried and would certainly benefit from a clean, otherwise looks good, no sign of any signature, housed in a painted and gilt frame which suffers from rubbing and small losses throughout, panel reinforced at the back, Arthur Tooth & Son label verso giving a date of 1916 to the work although we do not believe this to be by the hand of Modigliani. Comes for sale from a deceased estate, believed to have been purchased from Arthur Tooth.
