A Chinese pale celadon jade brush washer, carved in high relief and openwork with three chilong, one confronting a phoenix, the stone of good even tone graduating to white in areas, L. 15.8cm

The brush washer has natural inclusions and veining to the stone, each end of the brushwasher is carved in high relief and openwork with dragons, which are in a slightly paler or almost white jade, occasional minute nick to edges, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks.
