Impasto on board in honest untouched condition, board bows outwards slightly in the centre, paint looks a little dirty and would benefit from a good clean, signed lower left, housed in a high quality gilt scroll frame with title plaque, label verso for M. Newman of Duke Street, further ink inscription by the artist on the back of the board. Comes for sale from a deceased estate.
