The original patination has been rubbed away from most notably the upper upward facing portion of the arm, neck, back, right arm and extended leg, further rubbing to the front of the other leg, all from polishing and wear over the years, otherwise some dirt and general discolouration but beyond the rubbing this piece is in honest untouched condition, tiny nick to the top front right corner of the marble plinth and another small nick to the back right corner, a hairline crack running in the marble at the top from half way down the left handside across to just behind the skirt of the figure, incised signature front right of the plinth.
