An 18th century Dutch Delft two-section blue and white ink pot and cover, having removable pierced shaker and inkwell and mounted with a cornucopia candlestick and pen holders, marked to base WVDB (Weduwe van Den Briel), H 8cm W 11cm

The interior of the lining has a bruise with associated crazing throughout, the lid has a forked hairline crack with a loss to the glaze in the same area. Both linings have crazing throughout. Several shallow chips to the glaze throughout as well as light surface scuffs and scratches, typical minor flaws in the manufacture, including fritting
