Provenance - The present owner lived and worked in Hong Kong in the late1960s and purchased this brushpot from an antique dealer in Hong Kong on 12 February 1968. The brushpot comes with an original certificate from The Curios Furniture & Miscellaneous Utensils & Hardware Merchants, 370 Queens Road Central Hong Kong.

There is a small burst bubble to the glaze on the interior of the rim which possibly has a very tiny shallow splinter chip next to it, there is some occasional fritting / spotting to the glaze particularly around the edge of the rim, occasional minor scratches to the glaze otherwise in good condition.
