A George III silver baluster mug by Hester Bateman, with acanthus leaf capped handle and later inscription, London, 1790, 13.5cm, 12.5 oz.

Later engarved monogram and inscription on the side of the mug. Therer is a dent to the foot rim leaving it a little unsteady on a flat surface. Thre is an old split/repair between the belly of the mug and the foot. Minor surface scratches in general commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks on base clear.
