A Victorian gold and blue enamel mourning pendant locket, with scrolling arabesque decoration and opening to reveal a lock of hair beneath a glazed panel, 25mm.

On the interior, beneath the glazed panel some of the wirework appears to have become detached from the rest (broken) as there small pieces in random positions. There are three small chips to the blue enamel on one side and two small chips to the blue enamel on the other side. With a loupe, numerous minor scratches/nicks can be observed on the enamel commensurate with age and use. Overall condition is otherwise good. The gold is unmarked so carat unknown.
