A Chinese bronze short sword, Han dynasty or later, with malachite encrustation to the blade and handle, L. 46cm

With receipt for Castle Antiquities, Hollywood Road, Hong Kong, dated 11th May 1994.

The blade has a slightly undulating edge and a tiny nick near the tip, the tip is also bent over slightly, the patina particularly to one side is quite a pleasing malachite cover, the handle is very slightly bent out of shape otherwise in reasonable condition.
