A purple crewel worked panel embroidered with multi-coloured wools of elephants and bears in the Jacobean style together with another similar panel embroidered with elk and kangaroo

Brown bear and elephant panel - length 304cms (from rings to outer edge of braiding). Braiding detached from cloth in places, there are a few tiny holes to the purple fabric at the sides, slight fading all over in places.

Kangaroo and elk panel: 108cms wide (including braiding) x 235cms long (top edge to bottom edge including braiding). Has a large hole near the elk back hoof, with a few minor holes throughout and minor wear to cloth, embroidery good, colour good.

Kangaroo and elk panel (elk with closed horns): 240cms long (from top edge including braiding) x 106cms wide (including both braided edges). This panel has a few fine holes and slight pulls to the fabric, embroidery strong and colour good.
