A 1920's Louis Vuitton travelling trunk, upholstered in orange tan canvas, original canvas lined interior with two lift out trays and label with addresses for Paris, 70 Champs-Élysées, Nice, Lille and London, 30in. depth 19in. height 22.5in.

All of the tan leather banding is scuffed, dirt spotted and in some cases looks to have been chewed into by rodents, the orange canvas covering is heavily scuffed scratched and discoloured with numerous dirt marks, front lid and back has a painted blue / black line running through it, both sides have the letter H in a blue circle, the original tan leather strap remains but again is worn and broken at one point as is the small leather loop at the front of the lid, all of the original metal catches and protectors appear to be intact but these are now a very dull bronze finish, no key to the lock, internally all looks original but the fabric is now discoloured and spotted, much of the divisions on the quilted underside of the lid have come loose but still remain present, label back right of the lid, both leather loop handles to the sides are intact as is the original wooden slatting underneath with Louis Vuitton stamp along with the original castors which are now rather worn, overall in worn but original condition.
