Oil on an old what looks to be walnut panel, the panel has a split running centrally from top to bottom, attempts have been made to reinforce the back as can be seen in additional photographs on our website, paint looks a little dirty, some fine but stable craquelure in the lighter tones, initialled and dated lower left, housed in a rather tatty gilt gesso scroll frame, details of the artist inscribed on the back of the frame.
