A rare Rene Lalique 'Meplat a Deux Figurines' perfume bottle, model no. 490, c.1912, engraved mark to base 'R. Lalique France, no. 490', bottle and stopper numbered '2',

Perfume bottle is in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks, there is some occasional grubbiness to the stopper and the polishing to the mouth where the stopper fits is consistent with the manufacture. There is wear to the base of the perfume bottle consistent with age and use.
The line on the knee of the figure is an oval moulding mark extending across both legs
