It is lacquered brass, not bakelite
It would benefit from a clean and has visible wear to lacquer in areas. There is a small chip to the glass above and to the right of 12, some scattered spotting visible to the dial as well as dirt. There is a scuffed area just above the letter G near the centre, which is also peeling at the bottom. We cannot guarantee this to be in working order
