A pair of 19th century Sheffield plate two handled soup tureens and liners, engraved with the Heneage family crest, of shaped oval form with fluted decoration and foliate borders, circa 1830, 39cm.

1- Large dent to the crest on the base. Very tarnished. Surface scratches in general. The liner has numerous dents including two quite large and is also quite worn. Both handles may well have been repaired as there is visible solder. The lid has some visible green oxidisation.
2- Lid has visible green oxidisation. The line is worn and has one handle missing. Numereous small dings/dents also. The base is heavily marked with green oxidisation and is also heavily tarnished.
