There is small dent to the base. Small dent on the lid. There are at least 8 dents to the silver on the uprights at each angle. No visible splits or repairs. In need of attention though. One of the feet is bent slightly. Small gap between lid and body when lid is closed. Engraved masonic related inscription to the top of the lid. One panel is a replacement and is loose in situ. Another is little loose also and may not be original. The interior spring mechanism works. Cards not contemporary with the box. Visible scuff marks to the inner lining.
