An important Regency parcel gilt rosewood settee in the manner of George Smith the show-wood frame carved with scallop shells and foliate scrolls, the arms with acanthus terminals and leopards head scroll supports, raised on turned and fluted tapered legs with concealed castors, W.7ft 6in. D.3ft H.3ft 5in.

Overall the frame is in good condition with an even colour, however the gilding looks re-done and has a matt appearance, the right arm has very porr gilt, the feet are worn and scuffed.
No ormolu or metal, all carved wood.
