The outer casing is scratched and damaged, the gilding around the edges is worn and the brass is tarnished. There are a few dents in the top lid. Inside it is missing all the utensils and also missing the inkwells, there is one in there but it is not compatible. Inside trays are scuffed, the bottom drawer doesn't open, there is no key for it. Top part opens and closes OK. Material is ok
