Note: Nijinsky (1967-1992), possibly the greatest flat racehorse in Europe and leading sire in Great Britain during the 20th century, was owned by prominent American businessman and minerals magnate Charles W. Engelhard Jr and trained by irish trainer Vincent O'Brien. The 'B S' in the inscription might be Robert Sangster, British business man, thoroughbred racehorse owner and breeder. Sangster, Engelhard and O'Brien were all close associates. Nijinsky retired from racing in 1970.
