A pair of Chinese carved and pierced hardwood table screens, 19th century, inset with octagonal Guangzhou enamelled plaques decorated with figures in gardens, overall height 20.3cm

The Canton enamels to the table screens both have hairline cracks and one has some small splinter losses around the edges, both of the burrwood panels which the panels are inset have some cracks and one has chip loss to the corner, the wood stands - one has a section of support broken and re-glued and the other has two uprights which have two uprights which have been broken and replacement parts taken from another Chinese piece of furniture put on as replacements to match with some filler around the area.
